Privacy policy

Capital AI never transmits what you type. There are no accounts, no analytics, and no tracking. We cannot see your data, because the app has no way to send it and nowhere to send it to.

This page is the same policy that ships inside the app, where it is a screen rather than a link — the app has no network access, so a linked policy would be unreachable exactly when someone most wants to read it. Every sentence here is checkable against the source code.

Who handles your data

You do. Capital AI has no server, so there is no company holding a copy of anything you enter. That also means there is nothing for us to hand over, sell, lose in a breach, or be compelled to produce — we do not have it.

What the app stores

Two things, both in the app's private storage on your device:

Your settings — theme, accent colour and currency symbol.
Your expense log — for each entry you add: an amount, a category (one of seven, including Health), a date, and, if you write one, a free-text note that can contain anything you type.

Calculator inputs are not stored. What you type into a tool exists only while that screen is open and is gone when you leave it.

What is never collected

No name, email, phone number, or account
No location
No contacts, photos, or files
No device or advertising identifiers
No analytics, crash reporting, or telemetry
No advertising, and no data sold or shared
No bank, card, or payment details — the app never asks for them, and you should never enter them

Internet access

Capital AI contains no networking code of any kind. It never opens a connection, because there is nothing in it that can.

The released app also requests no internet permission at all, so the operating system itself would refuse the attempt. Development builds are granted internet permission so developer tools can attach and hot reload; the released app is not. The app contains no networking code either way.

Backups

Capital AI asks the operating system to keep its data out of iCloud and Google backups, so your expense log is not copied to Apple or Google servers.

The trade-off is real and worth knowing: because nothing is backed up, your data will not follow you to a new device, and deleting the app deletes it for good.

Your control

Delete everything at any time from Settings. It happens immediately and cannot be undone.
Uninstalling the app removes all of it too.

There is no "request my data" process, because there is no copy anywhere to request.

Children

Capital AI collects nothing from anyone, of any age.

This website

This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads no third-party resources — no hosted fonts, no scripts, no embedded media. Your visit is not logged by us beyond whatever standard request logs your hosting provider keeps.

Changes to this policy
